Umi Premium Sushi: A Seafood Buffet Paradise Awaits You

Umi Buffet in East Brunswick is always a great experience. The food is fresh, well‑seasoned, and constantly replenished, and the variety is impressive, from sushi and seafood to classic buffet favorites. The staff keeps the dining area clean and the service is consistently friendly. It’s an excellent spot for a casual dinner, family outing, or group gathering. Definitely a good one.

We were searching for a new all you can eat in the area and stumbled upon this place. The amount of food selection they have is perfect. They have tons of crab legs so it’s never a waiting time for it. That pork belly was amazing and my little one loved the ramen. There’s bubble tea that you can grab while here that’s included which is great.

Love this place! It has something for everyone - both hot and cold items, sushi, salad, seafood, meats, hot pot. Hibachi, Ramen, dessert, ice cream etc. Great selection and delicious! Variety of beverages including soda, hot tea and multiple flavors of bubble tea included in dinner price. Staff is friendly and efficient, always walking around, checking for refills, cleaning up etc. Plentiful seating including a party room. Also some arcade type games in the lobby. Service charge is added to bill so tipping is not necessary. One of our favorite places to eat! Definitely recommend!

Umi Hotpot Sushi & Seafood is a must-visit! The food was incredibly fresh, the hotpot options were flavorful, and the sushi tasted amazing. The variety of seafood was impressive, and everything was well-seasoned and high quality. The staff was friendly, helpful, and super quick with service. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and has a great vibe—perfect for groups or a cozy dinner. Highly recommend if you love hotpot, sushi, or just great food in general! Will definitely be back.

This is our first time attending this establishment and I must say, I was very impressed. The ambience is not only welcoming but very clean and makes you feel like you’re getting top-tier buffet service. Elianna, the manager, served as greater as well, and she kept the energy up from the start. My family decided to treat each other to the lobster special after the holiday, and we were not disappointed. Fresh lobster come to the table as often as we asked, and for one low cost. My favorite was the ramen bar, where you can pick your selections from a well-prepped fridge, followed by a chef that gets it done right in front of you, and with a smile. Loved it. We’ll be back for sure.

The sushi is delicate and very photogenic. The seafood is fresh with a wide variety, though you may occasionally come across a few items that aren’t as fresh. They also have ice cream, milk tea, and hot pot. Last time I even had lobster — I was so happy! Overall, for this price range, it’s totally worth it. I’ve been here many times already, and the staff here are also very nice.

2/14/26: AWESOME!! We were here on the 14th for my Valentine's Day b-day and it was perfect! Fresh lobster claws, crab, shrimp etc were put out consistently & everything was so good. And the entire staff were so friendly and polite. I highly recommend going here!

We love the sushi. It was such a huge assortment and very fresh. The snow crab legs are delicious. Hot pot and ramen are great. There is so much different food and drinks. Service is amazing the staff is kind and helpful and very attentive. Umi buffet is a great choice for dinner!
